Their fish soup for $20 was amazing. Fish was a nice white fish, while not a lot but quality was definite there. Flakey tender soft fish accompanied with shrimp, muscle. Reminds me of a Peruvian bouillabaisse. Server was top shelf, attentive, recommended menu items.
We've been coming here since they opened. A solid variety of beloved Peruvian food and friendly service. My favorites here are the Lomo Saltado, anticuchos, and fish in shrimp sauce. If you're looking for authentic goodness, you have to stop by and try this spot!!
Great service and the food was very authentic. The outside it looks like a whole in the wall then you walk in and it's beautiful.
Talk about a classic and very yummy Peruvian eatery in the LV! We come here on each visit and this time around not only was the food on par but they did some renovation work. Their menu is quite large and we've had numerous dishes but each time we go we learn about something new. This time it was the Arroz Chaufa de Mariscos "seafood fried rice" (number 28 on the menu) which was loaded with shrimp, squid and fish and the nice "wok hei" flavor. Some of our other must haves are the Chicharron de calamar (number 6) that is a deep fried calamari mixed in with fried yucca and tartar sauce. Another go to dish OK it comes in an oversized cocktail glass is the Leche de Tigre Ceviche that you can order as medium spicy in an orange colored sauce or spicy in a green sauce (number 22) loaded with coastal seafood marinated in a tangy lime sauce, cilantro and Peruvian chiles. Lastly we had the Super Lomo served on a sizzling platter and loaded with tender steak pieces, French fries, red and green bell peppers and red onions (number 16). The sauce is to die for and can be added into a side of white rice too. I just love all the numerous finds you can find off the strip and at a reasonable price point! Our server was great and gave us some pointers for our order and he kept coming back to make sure everything was good. The ambiance is lively but overly noisy and the large TV screens have soccer games playing every time we've been there.
The ceviche is always worth getting here. I recommend the verde, but we've tried the other flavors and they're all good. I also love the fried rice, which perfectly suits the pallet of my household's main "picky eater." Sometimes the kitchen can take longer than others, so call ahead if you are in a hurry for take out.
